Who we are
Uno Water Sp. z o.o. is the data controller for personal data collected through unowater.pl, our customer support, and our marketing communications. Our registered address and Polish data-protection registration are listed on the Contact page. For privacy questions, write to contact@unowater.pl. For complaints, you have the right to contact the President of the Polish Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes UODO) at uodo.gov.pl.
What we collect
We collect personal data only when you give it to us, or when it is necessary to operate the website and the store. From you: name, email, shipping and billing address, phone number for carrier delivery, and payment information (handled by our payment processor; we do not store card numbers). Automatically: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and cookies (see Cookies below).
Why we use it
We process your data to fulfil orders (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR — contract performance), send order updates (contract performance), send the newsletter if you opted in (Art. 6(1)(a) — consent), provide customer support (Art. 6(1)(f) — legitimate interest), prevent fraud (legitimate interest), keep tax and accounting records as required by Polish law (Art. 6(1)(c) — legal obligation), and run marketing analytics where you have given cookie consent.
How long we keep it
Order records: 5 years from purchase, as required by Polish tax law. Account data: until you delete your account, then 30 days for backup expiry. Newsletter consent: until you unsubscribe. Support email: 24 months from last contact. Analytics data: 14 months.
Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to ask what data we hold about you (access), correct it if it is wrong (rectification), delete it where the law allows (erasure), restrict how we use it, get a copy in a portable format (portability), object to processing based on legitimate interest, and withdraw consent at any time where consent is the basis. To exercise any of these rights, write to contact@unowater.pl. We respond within 30 days.
International transfers
Some of our processors are based outside the European Union. Where that is the case, we use Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions to protect your data. The list of processors is in the section above and is kept current.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, send a notice to anyone with an account. Continued use of the site after the changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
