THE WHOLE INSTALL IN 5 SECONDS

Watch it before you read it.

A 5-second loop showing the whole install, end to end. If you’d rather see it than read it, this is enough — the steps below are for the details.

BEFORE YOU START

Three things, that’s it.

1
A cold-water valve under your sink.

Standard in 95% of European kitchens. Look for a small shut-off valve on the cold-water line.

2
About 30 minutes.

Most installs take 5 minutes once you’ve cleared the cabinet. Plan for 30 in case your sink is unusual.

3
The Uno install kit (included).

Comes with every filter: faucet adapter, two hoses, mounting bracket. No extra trips to the hardware store.

STEP-BY-STEP

Six steps, no plumber.

01
STEP 01~30 SEC

Shut off the cold-water valve.

Find the small valve on the cold-water line under your sink and turn it clockwise until snug. Open the tap to release pressure — water will trickle then stop.

TIPPlace a towel under the connection. There’s always a few drops.
STEP 02~1 MIN

Mount the filter, vertical or horizontal.

The Uno cylinder fits either orientation. Most cabinets have room on the side wall. Mark two screw points, drill (or stick the included adhesive bracket if you’d rather not).

TIPAdhesive bracket holds 5 kg — more than enough for the filter.
02
03
STEP 03~1 MIN

Connect the inlet hose to cold supply.

The included T-fitting goes between your cold-water valve and the existing tap line. Twist on, hand-tight. The fitting auto-seals — no PTFE tape needed.

STEP 04~30 SEC

Connect the outlet hose to the filter.

Other end of the inlet hose into the filter’s IN port. Outlet hose from the filter’s OUT port back to your tap line. Twist-lock, click in. That’s it.

04
05
STEP 05~30 SEC

Open the valve, check for leaks.

Turn the cold-water valve back on slowly. Watch the two connection points for 30 seconds. Dry? Good.

TIPIf you see a drip, tighten by a quarter-turn — never more. Don’t over-tighten.
STEP 06~1 MIN

Run two litres through to prime.

Open the tap and run cold water for about a minute. The first run flushes the new carbon block. The LED on the filter housing turns blue when it’s ready. Done.

06
THE FULL INSTALL — 3 MINUTES

Watch every step.

Real install, real kitchen, real timing. Pause anywhere and the steps above will tell you what’s happening.

IF SOMETHING’S OFF

Common questions during install.

Water’s still dripping after I tightened the connection.

Don’t keep tightening — over-tightening will crack the fitting. A quarter-turn is enough. If it persists, shut the valve and reseat the hose end.

I don’t see a cold-water shut-off valve under my sink.

Older buildings sometimes don’t have one. You’ll need a plumber for a 15-minute job to add one — or skip the under-sink install and consider a faucet-mount option.

The LED won’t light up.

The LED is battery-powered and ships in shipping-safe mode. Pull the small plastic tab from under the housing. The light should turn blue within 10 seconds.

My cabinet is too cramped for the filter.

The cylinder is 30.5 × 11.2 cm and can be mounted horizontally to fit shallow cabinets. If clearance is below 15 cm, message us with a photo before you install.
